Specifically curated to be enjoyed right at the summit, this unique pre-packed box offers a culinary journey through South Africa’s rich heritage, featuring a traditional, bite-sized snack from each of our primary cultural groups.

🥖 Nguni Cultures (Zulu, Xhosa, Ndebele, Swazi): Amagwinya (or Vetkoek) — Deep-fried dough balls that are crispy outside and fluffy inside, served plain or stuffed with savoury mince.
🥣 Sotho-Tswana Cultures (Pedi, Tswana, Sotho): Bogobe ba Letlhabula — A thick, sour porridge snack made from fermented sorghum, traditionally enjoyed cold as a quick daytime refresher.
🥜 Tsonga & Venda Cultures: Tshinshiya — Roasted or boiled groundnuts (peanuts) still in their shells, serving as a staple, highly portable snack for long journeys.
🍗 The Khoi and San: Smoked Game Jerky — Lean strips of wild buck meat, traditionally sun-dried and lightly smoked over open fires to preserve them.
🍩 Coloured & Cape Malay Community: Koesisters — Soft, spiced doughnut-style snacks flavoured with cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, fried, dipped in sweet syrup, and rolled in desiccated coconut.
🥩 White South Africans (Afrikaans & English): Biltong and Droëwors — Cured, air-dried meat strips and dried coriander-spiced sausages, which are arguably South Africa’s most famous savoury snacks.
😋 Indian South Africans: Samoosas — Triangular, crispy pastry pockets filled with spiced potato, cheese and sweetcorn, or minced meat, deep-fried to perfection.
